As the aging population in the US grows and demand outpaces supply, the US will face a shortage of 124,000 physicians and 195,000 nurses by 2034.
The number of undergrads choosing to student Health-related fields has declined 5% while health-related employment is expected to grow by 13% in the next decade
Student’s on today’s college campuses have an unprecedented opportunity to build impactful careers
The council’s mission is to prepare tomorrow’s leaders in medicine by serving today’s communities in need.
The Council takes on Fellows, who are expected to make a notable contribution. Students accepted to complete a Fellowship will be given unique access and opportunity to research and design and healthcare innovations that can be deployed at communities throughout the world.
Upon successful completion of their Fellowship, students will earn induction into the Council’s distinguished Honors Society and receive a Certificate for Leadership in Healthcare.

The Council's Fellowship program is built upon learning by practice where students will problem-solve, innovate, and launch healthcare innovations to support global communities
Join a collaborative community of welcoming, passionate, and motivated students who are focused on making the world a better place
Upon program completion, Fellows will earn a Certificate, Recommendation Letter, & Honors distinction to stand out to admissions committees from all health-related fields
High-achieving and deserving undergraduate students are selected to complete a Fellowship based on their academic achievement and GPA.
Accepted Fellows will then work in campus-level teams to develop healthcare innovations for global communities in need.
Fellows are inducted into the Council’s distinguished Honors Society only when they complete their Fellowship and submit their innovation service project. Selected projects will be honored at our annual National Awards Conference.

Access to local chapter, monthly events, and national networking
Free invitation to annual conference where completed projects across the nation will be awarded
Once certificate is earned and service project is completed, Fellows can be inducted into the CGHS Honors Society
Students will be grouped into mastermind teams of 6-8 students that will meet monthly
Fellows receive access to exclusive scholarships, free college prep, and admissions counseling
